Most modern day wedding photo albums do not look different from those of our parents; however, some newer styles are gradually beginning to appear. Probably, the same etiquette that dictated how the bride’s mother was shown in the album will be used today so you can expect to see her as the first photo in her wedding dress. After this the images normally show the couple in a picturesque area of where they were married.
Next of the photos you will find in a modern wedding photo album will be one with the wedding party dressed in their finery. The party is normally close friends and relations that play an active part during the ceremony like the father of the bride, the best man, page boys and bridesmaids. The photos of the bride’s attendants will be next in the album.
The next two sections are those reserved for the groom and his family and then the bride and her family. This group of pictures will end up in a special wedding photo album, a beautiful book with a gorgeous cover just like the one that their parents had for their wedding. Wedding photo albums will normally be in white with traditional decoration in the form of wedding bells and horseshoes; usually embossed to enhance the appearance further.
It is just as important for the contents of the wedding album to impress and this is achieved by clever display techniques that show the day off at its best. Some modern groups will probably have a digital version available on a computer disc as well supplied by the wedding photographer. It can hold hundreds of images.
The real beauty of this digital revolution is how easy it is for everyone to enjoy every image of the day on a disc that is in effect a digital weddingphoto album which can be stored indefinitely.

The only people I have seen use proper underwater digital cameras are marine botanists and other scientific personnel. Using an underwater digital camera requires skill as you are operating in a foreign environment. Many waterproof cameras are ok but they cannot be submerged for more than a meter below the surface of the water.
Buying one of those underwater digital cameras isn’t really likely but you could buy one of the cheaper options if you are only going below the surface for a short while and not to deep.
There aren’t that many manufacturers of these specialist cameras owing to the problem of water ingress into the cameras case and the pressure they have to work under. The closest electronics has ever got to producing underwater digital cameras are producing underwater casings for digital cameras. These cases have been very popular, especially with people on holiday that want to take a few underwater snaps with their favorite digital camera.
If you are shooting with your underwater digital camera, you need to take note of a few things to help you come up with the best underwater images.
Water diffuses the light and the farther down you go the more this diffusion occurs. To over come the darkening of images that will happen because of the diffusion, certain white balance settings can be altered which will cure the problem. Another thing you will notice is that underwater images always look as though the zoom has been used. Many novices make the mistake of not checking the viewfinder carefully to make sure they are going to take a picture containing exactly what they want in the final shot.
It is a good idea to make sure that the camera won’t leak while you are diving so just hold it under the water for a few seconds to be on the safe side. It is quite easy for something as tiny as a human hair to break the camera case seal and this will lead to a leak. Small silica gel packs can be useful if they can fit in the case without causing an obstruction.
If you have a chance you should try and fit additional lenses if at all possible to your underwater digital camera to increase the type of images you can take. Macro lenses will help you capture small things without getting too close and startling your subject.
Make sure when you re-surface that you rinse off the camera full to make sure all the salt water is washed off the camera as crystals of salt can break the camera seals. In particular where sand is present then a stream of water to rinse it off is best.

Underwater harpoon - if shot out of water would it go further than if shot underwater? %%% A friend and I were walking through our local sports store and came across some underwater harpoons. The discussion came up of whether a properly designed underwater harpoon arrow shot underwater would travel further than one shot out of the water.
My thoughts are that if its designed for underwater travel, its possible to make it go further, than if it were shot out of the water by the same harpoon gun.
